Our Love Story
First met
Andrea and Matthew “met” each other while playing a computer game. After 3 months or so of chatting online they both decided it was time to meet each other in person. Matthew flew to Texas and attended a fashion show that Andrea was participating in. Andrea spotted Matthew in the crowd after the fashion show and immediately ran over and jumped on him, giving him a huge hug.
First date
Andrea and Matthew's first date was at a restaurant called Tommy Bahamas, located on Market Street in The Woodlands. Tommy Bahamas has become Andrea and Matthew's favorite restaurant and they have made it a habit to celebrate special occasions at the restaurant ever since.
The proposal
The week prior to the day Matthew proposed, he randomly stated that they should go and have Andrea's ring finger sized by a jeweler. Immediately after the sizing, the jeweler asked if Matthew was interested in looking at rings. Matthew's response was something along the lines of "Maybe someday". After years of waiting for a ring to no avail, Andrea had learned not to get her hopes up "in the ring department" and so Matthew's response to the jeweler didn't bother her. But, unbeknownst to Andrea, Matthew had already purchased a diamond and only needed her ring size in order to complete the band.
